Umbria and its lakes

Lago Trasimeno! Everyone has heard of this. The largest lake in central Italy with many beaches and water sports opportunities. Ferries that sail to the islets with ancient fishing villages and castle ruins, the lively Lungomare of Passignano sul Trasimeno and the ancient Borgo of Castiglione del Lago.

But Umbria has more to offer than that! How about Lago Bolsena on the border with Lazio. A lake with numerous possibilities and eponymous Borghi just like that of Lago Trasimeno. In addition, the smaller Lake Corbara near Todi is well worth a visit.

When visiting us, do not forget to visit the waterfalls of Marmore and the Termal Baths of Bagni San Filippo.
